DuPage County’s Strategic Plan: Achieving a Thriving Community for the Future

The DuPage County Board has recently approved a strategic plan that will serve as a guide for legislation through the end of the decade. The plan was developed over the past 12 months by members of the board and outlines the goals and aspirations of both the board and the community for the future of DuPage County.

The Strategic Planning Committee, led by board member Sadia Covert, decided to focus on community services and economic development, with a goal of promoting local businesses, workforce development, and creating outreach programs for families, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities.
