Dubai’s Household Growth: 41,800 New Families Added in 2023
In 2023, the number of households in Dubai grew by 6.2%, reaching a total of 711,590 families compared to 669,750 families in the previous year. This growth equates to an increase of 41.8 thousand new families residing in the emirate.
According to data from the Dubai Statistics Center – Digital Dubai, the number of family members in Dubai also increased by 3.5% in 2023, totaling 2.855 million people as opposed to 2.756 million people in the previous year. The average family size decreased slightly to 4 individuals from 4.1 individuals in 2022 and 4.3 individuals in 2021.
