Riley Herbst qualified for the front row at Dover Motor Speedway on Friday, just behind pole winner Brandon Jones. Herbst expressed frustration with the passing rules during the race, but he had an impressive finish last week at Talladega and is competing for the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus.
Joining him on the front row is Jones, who secured his third career Xfinity pole at Dover with a lap of 156.863 mph. This was his 10th career series pole. Other drivers competing for the Dash 4 Cash bonus include Jesse Love, Ryan Sieg, and Anthony Alfredo.
Justin Allgaier qualified in third place with 156.672 mph, followed by Austin Hill in fourth with 156.060 mph. Sheldon Creed secured fifth place at 155.851 mph, and Kyle Weatherman achieved a career-best sixth place at 155.689 mph.
The Xfinity race is set to begin at 1:47 p.m. on Saturday on FS1. This race at Dover marks the 78th time Xfinity teams have competed at this venue.
