Denny Hamlin emerges victorious at Dover Cup race: Who came out on top and who fell short?

Denny Hamlin Dominates Dover: Reaches All-Time Cup Wins List While Some Drivers Struggle

The Dover race saw a mix of winners and losers. Denny Hamlin emerged victorious, passing Kyle Larson and leading the final 72 laps. Hamlin has now won three out of the last seven races and has led in all 11 races this season.

Meanwhile, Kyle Busch had a strong performance, finishing fourth, his best result since Atlanta. He moved back into a playoff spot with this impressive showing. Noah Gragson and Daniel Hemric also had solid races, finishing in the top 10 at Dover, marking their back-to-back top 10 finishes.

Unfortunately, Bubba Wallace struggled at Dover again, finishing 32nd and falling out of a playoff spot. Christopher Bell was involved in a crash with Wallace and Smith, finishing 34th. Ryan Preece had a tough day as well, finishing last due to a burning issue in his car that he deemed “completely unnecessary.”

Despite these setbacks for some drivers, Hamlin continued to impress on the track as he is now tied for 12th on the all-time Cup wins list as he continues to seek his first series title.
