Play Nintendo DS games on your iPad with the Delta emulator

Delta Emulator Gains Popularity among iPhone Users, Developer Plans to Release Native iPadOS Version and Multiplayer Capabilities

In recent months, the Delta emulator has quickly gained popularity among iPhone users as it allows them to play Nintendo DS games in ROM format. This emulator can be downloaded from the App Store for free and has risen to the top of the rankings in the United States. Meanwhile, European users can download Delta from the external store AltStore PAL.

However, it’s important to note that downloading games illegally may break the law. The developer of Delta, Riley Testut, has announced that an iPad-specific version is almost complete and will launch alongside version 1.6. Supporters on Patreon will have access to this app through AltStore, while a EU-specific AltStore is available for European users.

Testut plans to release a native iPadOS version of Delta that will optimize the user interface for the tablet’s screen size and offer elaborate skins, including one that transforms the tablet into a giant Nintendo DS Lite. Additionally, this version will support Split View feature, enhancing multitasking capabilities while using the app.

After launching the native iPadOS version of Delta, Testut plans to introduce multiplayer capabilities between different devices. Currently, multiplayer is only possible on a single device. Testut also mentioned that Sega Mega Drive emulation is in beta and will be released after the iPad version.
