Cunning Thief Caught on Camera: Man in Cap Steals Donation Box for Animal Shelter and Zoo in Freiberg, Saxony

A man wearing a cap was caught on camera stealing a donation box intended for poor animals in Freiberg (Saxony). The suspect is still on the run, and the police are actively trying to apprehend him. According to reports, the man visited a shop on Petersstrasse in Freiberg on November 16th and was seen engaging in a sales conversation with staff as a distraction before making off with the donation box containing several hundred euros meant for an animal shelter and zoo.

The man, described as around 45 years old, 1.90 meters tall, and strong, had a three-day stubble at the time of the crime. The police are seeking information from anyone who may recognize him from the surveillance images or have knowledge of his whereabouts.
