HRZ pilots show respect for all participants of Bljesko during Rafale flyover in Croatia.

Croatian Air Force Conducts Special Flyover to Honor Operation Bljesak Veterans

In honor of the 29th anniversary of military police operation Bljesak, the Croatian Air Force will conduct a special flyover by multi-purpose Rafale fighter planes. The pilots of the Croatian Air Force will take off from the Colonel Marko Živković barracks and soar through the skies as a fitting tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the Croatian veterans who fought for their country.

As they fly over the entire territory of the Republic of Croatia, these planes will symbolize gratitude and respect towards all those who were involved in the military police operation Bljesak. The Rafale fighter jets will be conducting their first mission with the Croatian Air Force, paying homage to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country’s freedom and independence.

The flyover is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers, honoring not only those who participated in Operation Bljesak but also all those who have served our nation throughout its history. As we commemorate this significant milestone, let us remember that freedom comes at a great cost, and we must continue to honor and support those who have given their lives in defense of our values.
