Criminal Investigation into American Vision Auto Owner for Swindling Customers and Money Laundering Allegations
Jessie Guadalupe Montes, the owner of American Vision Auto in Houston, is being investigated by authorities for swindling customers out of over $100,000. The allegations against him include theft aggregate and money laundering.
According to court records, Montes took advantage of multiple customers by collecting money for work that was never performed or vehicles that he did not own. He also misrepresented his ability to sell and provide classic vehicles, leading to losses totaling approximately $105,000 for the victims involved.
This is not the first time Montes has been accused of these crimes. He currently has a pending case in Lake Charles, LA for similar actions, and has a history of theft charges in Fayette, Austin, and Waller Counties.
