Columbia College vs. Stephens College Doubleheader: A Battle for Victory in the World of Baseball

Columbia College faced off against Stephens College in a doubleheader on Friday, following a recent loss to Williams Baptist University. Ultimately, the Cougars secured a 4-0 victory in the first game.

In contrast, momentum shifted in the second game as Stephens College dominated the third inning and took a 2-0 lead. Elise Kendrick’s hit drove in two runs, and the Stars continued to build on their lead with three more singles by the sixth inning, bringing it to 6-2. Despite their efforts, including Gottman’s timely single that resulted in 2 RBIs, Columbia fell short of a sweep in the doubleheader as Stephens emerged victorious with a final score of 6-4.
