Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD), Tahoe STEM Academy, and Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) are teaming up to host Discovery Night, a community event focused on STEM exploration. Taking place on Tuesday, May 14 from 5:30-7 p.m. at South Tahoe Middle School, the event promises to be an exciting and educational experience for K-12 students and their families.

Discovery Night will offer attendees an evening of interactive activities, tinkering exhibits, and robotics displays. By providing a space for families to come together and explore, the event aims to ignite a passion for science and discovery in young minds.

Adam Eynon, Director of Dual Enrollment at LTCC, emphasizes the importance of nurturing an early interest in STEM subjects. With support from LTCC’s TRiO, HSI, and Dual Enrollment departments, Discovery Night is just one way the college is dedicated to offering high-quality STEM education to students.

Collaborating with LTUSD and Tahoe STEM Academy, LTCC is thrilled to bring Discovery Night to life. The event aligns perfectly with their mission to enhance STEM education opportunities in the community.

Families with students from kindergarten to 12th grade are encouraged to attend Discovery Night and take part in this immersive learning experience. The night will feature food, games, raffle prizes, and a rich exploration of STEM concepts that are sure to spark curiosity and inspire innovation in young learners.
