Cleveland UnBar Cafe Owner Wins Top Prize in JumpStart Inc. Small Business Impact Program Showcase

Cleveland’s Larchmere neighborhood is set to welcome a new addition to its business community. UnBar Cafe, owned by Melissa Garrett, will be opening its doors this month. Garrett recently won the top prize of $20,000 at JumpStart Inc.’s Small Business Impact Program Showcase, held at Cleveland’s House of Blues. The event celebrated the 20th cohort of JumpStart’s Small Business Impact program, which is a 12-week accelerator that provides entrepreneurs with personalized advice and business training.

The showcase featured a pitch competition emceed by Josh and Maria Cribbs and presented by the Cleveland Browns. Josh Cribbs, a former wide receiver for the Browns, along with his wife Maria Cribbs, host a local television talk show.
