In June 2022, the Vorpal Gaming building in Knox, Indiana, burned down, leaving its owner facing growing debt. Additionally, the owner did not pay a $5,000 civil penalty, resulting in a total debt owed to the city of $24,615.95. Despite there being a lien on the property, Estok mentioned that it could take two to three years before the city is able to take ownership.
