Canada Scores 19-0 Victory Over Japan in World Para Ice Hockey Championship

Canada’s dominant performance in their opening game of the world para ice hockey championship was highlighted by a score of 19-0 against Japan. The Canadian team was led by Dominic Cozzolino, who scored four goals and provided four assists. Tyler McGregor and Liam Hickey also made significant contributions with three goals and four assists each.

Adam Kingsmill, the Canadian goalie, had a relatively easy game as he only had to make one save during the match. Other players on the Canadian team, including Adam Dixon with a hat trick and Anton Jacobs-Webb with two goals, also contributed to Canada’s victory. Additionally, Corbyn Smith, Micah Kovacevich, Vincent Boily, and Auren Halbert all scored goals for Canada.

On the other hand, Japan struggled in goal with Wataru Horie allowing 18 goals on 40 shots through two periods. Manabu Okabe took over in goal during the third period and managed to stop eight of the nine shots he faced.

Canada will face Italy in their next game in the preliminary round of the championship. This dominant performance sets a strong tone for Canada as they continue in the tournament.
