It is also a time to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and the ways in which individuals can seek help and support for their mental well-being.

According to the CDC, women are almost twice as likely as men to suffer from major depression, highlighting the need for increased awareness and support for mental health issues in women. By bringing attention to these issues and sharing personal stories and experiences, individuals like Cheryl Polote Williamson and Kim Roxie are helping to break down the stigma surrounding mental health.
