In the dystopian world of Boy Kills World, televised bloodsports reign supreme and dictate society’s social order. While the citizens are entertained by these savage competitions, a select few are chosen for sacrificial purposes to maintain the control of a despotic family known as the van der Koys. The protagonist, known as “Boy” and portrayed by Bill Skarsgård, has witnessed the tragic deaths of his mother and sister before escaping into the jungle. Now trained in martial arts by a shaman, he is ready to seek revenge against those who have wronged him. With its unique color palette and frenetic style, Boy Kills World may remind viewers of films like Kill Bill and Oldboy, among others. However, it stands out with its quirky and bizarre tone that sets it apart from other action-packed films.
