Beekeeping: The Unsung Heroes of SGMC Health – Latrelle Tomlin’s Extraordinary Dedication Recognized with April BEE Award.

Latrelle Tomlin, Certified Nurse Assistant at Hospice of South Georgia and Langdale Hospice House, has been recognized with the April Being Extraordinary Every day (BEE) Award by SGMC Health. Emily Hydrick, Nurse Manager, praised Tomlin’s dedication and support and mentioned that she is a valuable team member whose care for patients is greatly appreciated. The BEE Award is given monthly to staff members who embody the organization’s motto of “Remarkable People, Extraordinary Care, Human Kindness.”

Tomlin has been a part of the health system for over 4 years and is known for her positivity and teamwork. She often steps up to help cover weekend shifts when her coworkers need assistance and maintains a positive and flexible attitude when new processes are implemented at work. Her colleagues appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond to ensure patient care is top-notch.
