Bartlesville High School Pitcher Brenden Asher: A Legacy Continues as ORU Baseball Bound

As the 2024 season comes to a close, we are excited to announce our final Patriot Auto Group Athlete of the Week, powered by Tri County Tech. This week, we are highlighting Brenden Asher, a standout pitcher from Bartlesville High School.

Asher has been a consistent presence on the team for three years, both as a Bruin varsity District starting pitcher and a Doenges Ford Indian pitcher. He has recently signed to play NCAA Division I baseball at Oral Roberts next year. In his final regular season start as a Bruin, Asher threw seven innings of one-run baseball, capping off an outstanding high school career.

Throughout his time at Bartlesville High, Asher has shown significant improvement and consistency in his pitching. He has never had an ERA over 3.2 in three years as a District starter, facing tough competition in 6A baseball. Asher will be continuing a tradition of Bartlesville players going on to play at ORU, following in the footsteps of two previous Bruins who made the same choice.

Despite some ups and downs in the 2024 season, Asher, along with his fellow seniors, has provided leadership for a younger group of Bruins. As Bartlesville looks ahead to Regionals, Asher remains optimistic about the team’s outlook. While the official bracket has not been released yet, BHS is set to face the Redhawks in their first-round game at Union.

Congratulations to Brenden Asher for being named our Patriot Auto Group Area Athlete of the Week
