Cincinnati Bengals Shine in 2024 NFL Draft with Immediate Impact Players, Particularly on the Lines

B+ Grade for Cincinnati Bengals’ Draft Performance: Amarius Mims, McKinnley Jackson and More

The Cincinnati Bengals’ draft performance over the first two days has earned them a grade of B+. Among the standout players are Amarius Mims, Kris Jenkins, and Jermaine Burton, all of whom have long-term potential and can make an immediate impact on the team.

Amarius Mims was a favorite pick for the Bengals and has elite potential as an offensive tackle from Georgia. Although he did not play much in college, Mims possesses all the qualities of a starting tackle and could be a strong presence on the Bengals’ offensive line if he can stay healthy. This pick solidified their offensive line and provides them with a player who can contribute to their success in the long run.

On the other hand, McKinnley Jackson was not as well-received as some other picks. While he may have been a reach in the third round, Jackson adds depth to the defensive line but may not be as explosive as some other players in his position. However, overall, the Bengals made strong choices in each round that should benefit their team in the long run.
