Panhandle Breast Health to take part in health fairs beginning Thursday

Amarillo’s Panhandle Breast Health Brings Breast Cancer Awareness to Community Health Fairs and Events

Panhandle Breast Health staff and volunteers are set to attend several community health fairs and events in the coming months to share information and resources with the public. They will be participating in events such as the School Vaccine and Resource Fair on May 2 at Fannin Middle School, the Energy Workers Lunch n’ Learn Resource Fair on May 3 at the Amarillo Civic Center, the Amarillo Sod Poodles vs Midland Rockhounds pre-game event on May 4 at Hodgetown Stadium, and the Lisa Cherry Health Fair on May 18 at the Charles E. Warford Activity Center.

At these events, Panhandle Breast Health will be providing health information, accepting applications for no-cost mammograms, and giving away PBH goodies. In addition, they have been selected to be in the Charity Spotlight at the Sod Poodles’ game, where they will have a special presence and offer additional resources to attendees.

Panhandle Breast Health’s dedication to raising awareness about breast health and early detection is evident through their participation in these community events. By connecting with individuals and providing valuable information and resources, they are making a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. Copyright 2024 KFDA.
