In the offseason, Alabama has been busy strengthening its roster for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The latest addition to their lineup is standout big man Clifford Omoruyi from Rutgers, who was ranked as the No. 13 player in CBS Sports’ Transfer Rankings. Omoruyi is known for his shot-blocking abilities, having recorded an impressive 93 blocks before the NCAA Tournament during his four seasons at Rutgers.
Overall, this marks the fourth transfer that Alabama’s head coach Nate Oats and his staff have added this offseason, with Omoruyi joining Aden Holloway from Auburn, Chris Youngblood from USF, and Houston Mallette from Pepperdine.
