Addressing Fencing Concerns: One-Time Entrance Fees or Camera Installation?

In recent times, fencing has become a common issue in certain locations. To address this problem, a one-time entrance fee could be implemented at these areas. This fee can be paid at a debit/credit kiosk and would range from $3 to $5 per entrance. The fee would be refundable after a day or two, providing an added incentive for individuals who do not have a credit card or prefer not to have their presence recorded.

Another proposed solution is to install small cameras at each entrance or transaction point. This measure would provide an extra level of security and identification by capturing images of individuals entering the location. With this system in place, there would be records of names associated with each entrance, proof of presence, and a picture of each individual.

This approach could also help in cases of credit card theft by allowing law enforcement to identify potential scammers more easily. However, it is unfortunate that such restrictions are necessary for those simply wishing to spend time with their children. Nonetheless, until the situation improves in our country, preventative measures like these may be necessary. As always, it’s essential to weigh the pros and cons and consider alternative solutions before making any decisions about how best to address the issue at hand.
