Verona’s Potential Gold Rush: Profiting from Jackson Tchatchoua’s Sale to Everton
Verona is set to make a significant profit on Jackson Tchatchoua, as they prepare to sell him to Everton for around €8m. The Cameroon international had joined Verona on loan from Royal Charleroi Sporting Club last summer, with an option to buy that was eventually exercised for €3m. Now, Verona could nearly triple that amount with the sale to Everton, thanks to Director of Sport Sean Sogliano’s successful financial moves in recent months.
Tchatchoua, who will turn 23 in September, primarily plays as a right-back but is versatile enough to play in other positions as well. He has earned two senior caps for Cameroon and featured in 27 matches for Verona last season in Serie A and the Coppa Italia. During his time with the club, he provided two assists, showcasing his skill and potential on the field. With this potential sale to Everton, Verona seems to have maximized their acquisition of Tchatchoua, making a significant profit in the process.
