The University of Idaho’s College of Science is hosting Vandal Science Days, a two-day science event on April 19-20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) in Moscow. This free, public event offers hands-on science experiences for participants of all ages.
Some of the highlights include workshops exploring the connections between science and music as part of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, which coincides with the event from April 17-20. The event will feature special presentations by faculty members on topics such as arsenic in beauty products and archaeochemistry. There will also be hands-on activities like a fossil dig and comet making for attendees to get their hands dirty in various scientific fields.
