Valencia CF player Cristian Rivero had a dream come true yesterday as he made his debut with the VCF team in LALIGA at Mestalla, wearing the captain’s armband. The goalkeeper from Gandía joined the VCF Academy at the tender age of 10 and had his official debut with the first team on December 16, 2020, playing against Terrassa CF in a Copa del Rey match.
Rivero has been a promising player for the Valencianista team since then. In a post-match interview with VCF Media after the game against Deportivo Alavés, which was part of matchday 34 of LALIGA EA Sports 23-24, Rivero expressed his feelings about his debut. He mentioned, “I feel proud. I work hard to stay in shape and give my best when the opportunity arises.” Unfortunately, Jaume got injured during the game, but Rivero was delighted to have the chance to play in front of these fans. He added, “It’s been a dream come true for me to wear the captain’s armband and be on the field.”
