The UT Health San Antonio Police Department is conducting a law enforcement training exercise at the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center on Saturday, June 8 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is located at 5788 Eckhert Road in San Antonio. During the training, there will be an increased police presence in and around the clinic, with a large number of police vehicles, uniformed officers, and officers in tactical equipment visible to members of the community.
The department is committed to ensuring the safety of both the university community and the larger San Antonio Medical Center area through this training exercise. By better preparing its officers, they hope to better protect the community from potential threats.
