US Citizen Pleads Guilty to Sanctions Violation for Avionics Equipment Sale to Russia with Latvian Co-Conspirator

Cyril Gregory Buyanovsky, a US citizen, pleaded guilty to conspiring with Oleg Chistyakov, a Latvian citizen, to facilitate the sale of US avionics equipment to customers in Russia. The press release and indictment allege that Chistyakov violated the Export Control Reform Act by conspiring with two US citizens to sell prohibited goods.
