The finalists for Upstate high school boys athlete of the week from April 29-May 5 have been announced. Fans are encouraged to vote for their favorite athlete, and polls will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Multiple votes are allowed, so be sure to spread the word!
Last week’s winner was Landrum baseball player Titus Poore, who received over 5,000 votes. This week’s finalists include Carson Boleman from Southside Christian, Wilfer Bustamante from J.L. Mann, Chansen Cole of Boiling Springs, Erik Erlenkeuser from T.L. Hanna, States Farr from Spartanburg, Liam Montes from St. Joseph’s, Brody Pike from Powdersville and Will Ruth from Dorman.

Chansen Cole pitched a shutout and scored the winning run in a 1-0 win against Woodmont in baseball playoffs while Erik Erlenkeuser shot 68 for medalist honors in the Region 1-AAAAA golf tournament with an impressive score of 68 points!
