Unveiling the World’s Best Photographs: Sony World Photography Awards Celebrate Diversity and Beauty

The Sony World Photography Awards recently announced the winners of this year’s competition at a prestigious awards ceremony in central London. The event was attended by established photographers, industry leaders, Sony representatives, and members of the press.

Juliette Pavy was awarded the title of Photographer of the Year 2024 for her series Spiralkampagnen: Forced Contraception and Unintended Sterilisation of Greenlandic Women. Pavy received a $25,000 cash prize, Sony digital imaging equipment, and the opportunity to present her work at next year’s Sony World Photography Awards exhibition.
