to Kevin Harlan’s Exciting Commentary of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl Victory Touchdown

Unforgettable Radio Call as Kansas City Chiefs Win Super Bowl Title in Overtime

The Kansas City Chiefs won their second straight Super Bowl on Sunday night thanks to a Mecole Hardman touchdown catch in overtime. Though Jim Nantz and Tony Romo were calling the television broadcast for CBS, Kevin Harlan provided an epic call of his own via a radio broadcast.

Harlan, who began his football broadcasting career as the voice of the Chiefs, was the play-by-play announcer for Westwood One Sports Radio’s Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday. After the San Francisco 49ers scored first to begin overtime in the 2024 Super Bowl, Harlan was on the call for the Chiefs’ ensuing drive, including the Super Bowl-winning touchdown pass to Hardman.

“It’s caught! Hardman caught the ball! The Chiefs have won!” Harlan said on the call.

Travis Kelce played a crucial role in helping the Chiefs win their second consecutive title by making some dramatic plays during regulation time and then scoring a clutch touchdown in overtime.
