On Wednesday, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago announced that it would be closed due to unexpected maintenance issues. The closure was mentioned on the museum’s website, where visitors were informed that individuals who had purchased advance tickets would receive a refund or could reschedule their visit by calling (773) 684-1414.

The post also stated that the museum was scheduled to reopen on Thursday for its regular operating hours. The MSI had extended its hours for spring break from Monday to Thursday, opening at 9:30 a.m. and closing at 5:30 p.m. Normal operating hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. were set to resume on Monday, April 8th, according to the website.
