Rise Athletics competitive cheer team from Great Falls is preparing for their fourth consecutive appearance at the All Star World competition. This year, the program is sending all three of their elite teams to compete, marking a milestone for the program.
Lani McCarthy, owner of Rise Athletics, expressed her excitement about this achievement, acknowledging the honor of having all three teams qualify for such a prestigious event. In the early days of the program, Rise Athletics started with just two teams while renting space at a gymnastics gym. Fast forward to their fifth season, and the program has grown to six teams with a record of regional championships, national titles, and appearances at world competitions.
This year, the youth and junior teams received at-large bids while the senior team secured a paid bid, covering their expenses for the competition. The Rise Athletics teams have performed exceptionally well this year, winning major competitions and building confidence as they prepare for the world competition. As the only competitive cheer team in Great Falls and the sole Montana team to receive a bid, Rise Athletics is proud to represent their town and state on a global stage.
