If you or your sponsor are approaching retirement from active duty or the National Guard or Reserve, it’s important to understand your options for TRICARE health coverage. On Thursday, May 23, from 4 to 5 p.m. ET, TRICARE is hosting a webinar called “TRICARE Options in Retirement” that will guide you through the process of maintaining your coverage when you retire.
The webinar will cover everything from how to keep your TRICARE coverage to new options for dental and vision coverage. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and speak with TRICARE experts during the live event.
Retiring from active duty and retiring from the National Guard or Reserve at age 60 are both considered Qualifying Life Events (QLEs), which means that within 90 days of a QLE, you have the option to make changes to your TRICARE health plan enrollment. This is an important consideration as there may be some changes to your coverage after retirement.
To attend this webinar, simply join via Microsoft Teams Live a few minutes before start time on May 23rd. This is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to learn more about their TRICARE benefits and how they can maintain them throughout retirement. Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity!
