As we approach the end of the school year, we want to recognize the seniors who have excelled in their high school athletic careers. To do this, we have created a new poll that will showcase the top local performers in each grade. The first edition of this grade-centric poll will be released on Tuesday, May 7, starting with the best senior spring sports athlete from the Muskegon area.
Throughout this season, we have highlighted several outstanding athletes who have won the title of Athlete of the Week. We have recognized students like Paxton Borgman from Fremont and Kylee Willea from Oakridge. These athletes are just a few examples of the many deserving candidates for this recognition.
To nominate someone for this special honor, you can email your suggestions to jvandyke@mlive.com, along with the player’s statistics and achievements that you think make them stand out. We encourage everyone to take part in this process and help us recognize these exceptional athletes.
