Comedy Dynamics Acquires Tony Rock’s Special ‘Rock The World’

Tony Rock’s ‘Rock the World’ Special Acquired by Comedy Dynamics for Release Later this Year

Comedy Dynamics has announced the acquisition of Tony Rock’s debut special, “Rock the World,” for release later this year. The comedian filmed the special at The Long Beach Laugh Factory during a break from his “Rock The Mic Comedy Tour.” In it, he offers a fresh perspective on post-pandemic life and explores topics such as Black culture, gender, and relationships.

The special was directed by Sam Brownfield, with Dana Marshall and Charleston Rock serving as producers. Tony Rock expressed his excitement about the project, calling it a significant milestone in his career. Brian Volk-Weiss, the Founder and CEO of Comedy Dynamics, also shared his enthusiasm for working with Tony Rock, describing the upcoming special as a wild ride.

Tony Rock is a multi-talented comedian, actor, and producer who has been performing stand-up since the late ’90s. He recently starred in CBS’s sitcom “Living Biblically” and has appeared in shows like “Everybody Hates Chris” and “All of Us.” In addition to his film and TV credits, he hosts several programs and is the founder of the MyROCK Diabetes Foundation.

Comedy Dynamics has also acquired specials from other comedians and produced popular series like “Down to Earth with Zac Efron.” Tony Rock is represented by Independent Artist Group and Authentic Talent and Literary Management.
