The baseball teams of Jefferson City and Blair Oaks had successful games on their home fields on Tuesday night. Jefferson City was able to secure a thrilling victory over Tolton with a score of 19-18, while Blair Oaks dominated Hallsville in just five innings with a final score of 11-1.
In the game between Jefferson City and Tolton, the Trailblazers took an early 8-2 lead which could have posed a challenge for the Jays. However, Jefferson City came back strong in the third inning, scoring seven runs to take the lead at 9-8. The teams continued to go back and forth in scoring until the bottom of the sixth inning, where the game saw its first scoreless half inning. Despite Tolton briefly taking a 13-9 lead, including a run scored on a steal of home, Jefferson City remained unfazed and ultimately won the game 19-18.
