The Quad Life Science Campus Reaches a Milestone with Completion of State-of-the-Art Building

The Davis Companies is proud to announce the completion of 101 Smith Pl., a state-of-the-art life science and lab building located in West Cambridge, MA. This building is part of The Quad Life Science campus, an expansive 9.8-acre park dedicated to life science and advanced manufacturing.

Developed in partnership with Invesco Real Estate, The Quad features three life science facilities, one advanced manufacturing building, and potential for future development. Through strategic preleasing efforts and investment in spec suite construction, Davis secured a ten-year lease agreement with Samsung SDI, a South Korea-based battery and electronic materials manufacturer majority-owned by Samsung Electronics.

The completion of 101 Smith Pl. represents a significant milestone in realizing the vision for The Quad, which aims to provide tenants with access to the Greater Boston life sciences market and top-tier talent. The building is designed with flexibility in mind to meet the diverse research and manufacturing needs of its tenants.
