Israeli Army confirms death of Hamas’ 3rd-in-command in recent Gaza attack

The Death of Hamas Leader Marwan Issa: Israel’s Latest Strike in Gaza Leaves Palestinians Devastated

The Israeli Army has confirmed the death of Marwan Issa, a high-ranking member of Hamas, during an airstrike carried out in Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza. Issa was the “number three” of Hamas and helped organize attacks that left over 1,200 people dead and 240 hostages on October 7th. His death was announced last week by White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Israel launched its offensive against Gaza in response to the October attacks. Since then, more than 32,300 Palestinians have been reported dead due to Israeli military actions in Gaza. In addition, over 420 Palestinians have been killed due to the actions of security forces and Israeli settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

According to reports from ‘The Times of Israel’, another senior Hamas member, Commander Ghazi Abu Tamaa, head of the combat and administrative assistance staff, was also killed in the same attack as Issa. Israel’s offensive against Gaza continues to this day, with no end in sight for the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.
