CW Sports Appoints Jason Wormser as Senior Vice President

The CW Network Welcomes Jason Wormser as Senior Vice President of CW Sports: A Giant Leap Towards an Expanded Sports Portfolio

Jason Wormser has been appointed as the Senior Vice President of CW Sports by The CW. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all production aspects of The CW’s sports portfolio, including live events such as LIV Golf, ACC college football, men’s and women’s basketball, and the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025.

As an invaluable asset to the network since the launch of CW Sports one year ago, Wormser has been a consultant for The CW. Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment at The CW Network expressed excitement about bringing him on full time. According to Schwartz, Wormser’s passion, experience and dedication to ensuring a compelling broadcast make him the perfect fit for this role.

Prior to this appointment, Wormser served as Vice President of Production, Soccer for Fox Soccer Channel, Fox and FS1. He supervised behind-the-scenes crews responsible for broadcasting major international soccer events such as FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2015 and FIFA Men’s World Cup in 2018.

Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to join The CW Network family, Wormser stated that in just one year they have set a solid foundation as they help grow public awareness and provide value to affiliates nationwide.
