Technology, Sustainability, and Wellness: The 2024 Hotel Expo Takes Shape in Dubai

The 2024 Hotel Expo, organized by DMG Events, will take place from June 4 to 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This international event will feature national pavilions from 28 countries, including Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Turkey, and the UAE. Poland will participate in the exhibition for the first time this year.

The Hotel Expo report’s survey revealed that hotel owners recognize the crucial role of technology in business success and guest satisfaction. Guests increasingly prefer self-service options to reduce contact with hotel staff. Therefore, four conferences will be held during the exhibition: Technology Conference on Hospitality Operations; Sustainability Conference on Hospitality Management; Wellness Conference on Hospitality Business Models; and a General Assembly of Hospitality Industry Leaders.

More than 100 experts from around the world will attend these conferences to discuss trends in the hospitality industry. These experts include Eileen O’Connell, Vice President of Design and Hospitality at dmg Events. She emphasized the importance of technological advancements in meeting guest expectations and creating memorable experiences. Additionally, she highlighted the growing trend of wellness and sustainability in hospitality practices.

The Hotel Show will also feature a Leisure & Wellness Conference where industry leaders will discuss how wellness is transforming travel options and how hotels can adapt to meet these changing preferences. The exhibition showcases products that cater to guests’ wellness needs such as fitness equipment, wellness retreats, spa treatments, adventure activities and more.
