TechNode: Baidu and Qualcomm collaborate to advance prolonged actuality know-how in China
On September 15, Qualcomm China and Baidu introduced their partnership to collectively develop prolonged actuality (XR) know-how and its utility in varied industries, together with tourism and schooling. This collaboration is supported by a non-binding Strategic Cooperation MoU. With a purpose to improve the metaverse consumer expertise, Baidu plans to combine Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Areas™ XR developer platform and cutting-edge XR applied sciences into its XiRang platform. Launched in 2021, XiRang platform was created by Baidu to assist the event of the metaverse.
