The stock market was a rollercoaster ride with several gainers and losers. Wilhelmina International (WHLM) soared with a 45% increase, while Solidion Technology (STI) experienced a 15% boost. C3is (CISS) and Globavend (GVH) also saw gains of 12% and 9%, respectively. Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies (WAB) joined the winners’ circle with a 9% increase.
However, not all companies fared well. Jayud Global Logistics (JYD) and LanzaTech Global (LNZA) were among the biggest losers, experiencing a decrease of 14% and 12%, respectively. Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL) and Serve Robotics (SERV) also suffered losses of 10% and 9%. ArcBest (ARCB) saw an disappointing decrease of 8%.
The S&P 500 Industrials Sector took a hit as it declined by 1.54% to close at 1025.55.
