Stock Market Performance: A Look at Trading and Investment Opportunities in the Nordic Region

The stock exchange’s general index saw a slight increase of 0.1 percent to 9738.37 points after a while of trading. The bank Nordea was the most traded stock of the morning, with its share price rising by 1.4 percent to 10.76 euros. Among the twelve most traded stocks, half were up and half were down.

A mining company, Sotkamo Silver, was one of the stocks on the rise, with its share increasing by 2.3 percent to 0.10 euros. A technology supplier for the glass processing industry, Glaston, also saw an increase in share price by 3.5 percent to 0.88 euros. Inderes raised Glaston’s target price to EUR 1.00 from the previous EUR 0.95 and reiterated its buy recommendation.

At the top of the list was a steel company, SSAB, whose B share fell by 1.7 percent to 6.30 euros despite recent announcements of major investments in Lulea, Sweden and Raahe, Finland. IT service company Vincit made changes in its management team to align business responsibilities with different geographical areas and customer markets; their share closed at 2.75 euros the previous day but Konecranes, a lifting equipment company, stated that it is strengthening its presence in port services by acquiring a German maintenance company Kocks Kranbaun which was completed in April but the value was not disclosed; Konecranes’ share price was down by
