MOXI Excites Kids on School Break with Science and Innovation

Spring Break Science and Innovation: Exploring MOXI’s Exciting Events and Interactive Exhibits

During spring break, some students are taking advantage of the opportunity to explore science and innovation at the MOXI (The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation) in Santa Barbara. The museum has been buzzing with activity as various spring break schedules have been in effect and March has been filled with exciting events.

Located next to the Santa Barbara train station, the museum recommends making a ticket reservation in advance for a visit. With so much to see and do, it’s important to plan ahead and make the most of your time at MOXI.

Kristin Denton, the Associate Director of Education at MOXI, shared that there are currently 16 students enrolled in a spring break camp where they are learning about music, songs, and creating their own band. The summer camps are already filling up quickly, indicating a high level of interest from the community. It’s clear that MOXI is providing valuable educational opportunities for students of all ages.

Inside MOXI, kids were actively engaged in activities such as racing hand-made cars, creating Lego designs on a giant board, and measuring their jumps using a video image. The museum offers a variety of interactive exhibits that encourage creativity and exploration. One particularly captivating exhibit is Shadow Box, which includes lights and images and will be on display at the museum through May 31st.

With so much to see and do at MOXI during spring break, it’s no wonder that the museum is quickly becoming a popular destination for both students and families alike. Be sure to check out MOXI’s website for more information on upcoming events and exhibits, as well as details on how to make a ticket reservation in advance.
