Spot Coffee in Rochester Temporarily Closes Due to Health Code Violations

In the heart of Rochester, a beloved coffee shop, Spot Coffee, has temporarily closed its doors. This decision was made by the Monroe County Health Department on February 9th, in accordance with the NY State Sanitary Code. A sign on the door explains that all food operations must cease due to numerous health code violations.

According to Spot Coffee’s District Operations Manager, Peter Kervin, the company is taking these reports very seriously and has taken immediate action to address the issue. They are working diligently to rectify the situation and prevent any future recurrences of these violations. The company is cooperating fully with the county health department and implementing thorough cleaning and sanitation procedures, as well as working with pest control services.

The statement from Kervin emphasizes that Spot Rochester is committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety for its customers. He appreciates the community’s understanding and patience as they work to resolve this matter. Unfortunately, at this time there is no word on when Spot Coffee will reopen its doors.
