Sports Radio Icon Banned from Citizens Bank Park for Sexual Misconduct Allegations”.

Howard Eskin, a longtime sports radio legend in the Philadelphia area, has been banned from Citizens Bank Park for the rest of the season after an investigation found that he made an unwanted advance toward a female Aramark employee in May. The 73-year-old Eskin reportedly gave her an unwanted kiss at the ballpark, leading to the investigation. Audacy, the parent company of WIP-FM where Eskin works, confirmed the incident and stated that they take such matters seriously.

Eskin is known as SportsRadio 94 WIP’s original sports talker, launching the station’s first sports talk show in 1986 when it was on 610 AM. When the station switched to 94.1 FM in 2011, his show was the first to go on-air. Eskin has hosted nearly 7,000 shows on WIP, setting a record as the most prolific sports talker in the country.

As Audacy proposed the ban and it came into effect after an investigation was conducted regarding Eskin’s behavior towards a female Aramark employee at Citizens Bank Park in May. The Phillies are currently away facing the Chicago Cubs and will not be back home until July 9th when they will host the Los Angeles Dodgers in a highly anticipated series.
