Southeast New Mexico College Hosts Regional Science Bowl, crowns New Mexico Military Institute Team National Champions”.

The Regional Science Bowl took place at Southeast New Mexico College, bringing together seven teams from around the state to compete for a spot at a prestigious national academic science competition. Among the schools participating in the event were Carlsbad High School, Carlsbad Early College, New Mexico Military Institute, and Hobbs High School. Each team showcased their expertise in various scientific fields, with some putting their best foot forward and others falling short.

In the end, it was the New Mexico Military Institute team that emerged victorious. Comprised of two sophomores, a junior, and a senior, this talented group demonstrated exceptional knowledge in math and science. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they secured the No. 1 title, earning them a spot at the upcoming national competition scheduled for April 25-29.

The competition was fierce as each team put their best foot forward. Despite being challenging and exciting for both participants and spectators alike, it was ultimately an opportunity for young minds to come together and learn from one another in a friendly yet competitive environment. Congratulations to the New Mexico Military Institute team on their well-deserved victory!
