Delicious Mocktail Recipes for Valentine’s Day from Tulsa Health Department

Sip, Savor and Stay Safe: Valentine’s Day Mocktails with Tulsa Health Department and StopDUI Task Force

In preparation for Valentine’s Day, the Tulsa Health Department’s substance abuse prevention program and the StopDUI Task Force are urging residents who drink alcohol to do so responsibly and safely, or to try a fun mocktail instead. The StopDUI Task Force and the substance abuse prevention program of THD collaborated to present a Facebook Live mocktail tutorial for Valentine’s Day, which will take place on Friday, February 9th. THD Prevention Specialist Kandice Lawson and Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Eric Kirby will share delicious recipes for festive drinks to prepare for Valentine’s Day.

If you want to make your Valentine’s Day special with a tasty drink that is both delicious and healthy, then you might want to try out some of the following recipes:

Circus of Love:


1 large carbonated beverage (such as soda or sparkling water)

1 jar of marshmallow fluff

4 glasses (or any other cups you prefer)

1 container of cotton candy (optional)

1 container of sprinkles (optional)


Roll the rim of the glass in marshmallow fluff.

Then dip it in sprinkles (if using).

Pour the carbonated beverage into the glass, filling it about ¾ full.

Drop about 3-4 handfuls of cotton candy into the glass and stir until well combined. Serve immediately!
