Shocking Upset: Chinese Taipei Knocks Out Ireland from World Cup of Darts

In a stunning upset, debutants Chinese Taipei knocked out the Republic of Ireland from the World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt. Despite a valiant comeback effort, ninth seeds William O’Connor and Keane Barry fell short in the deciding leg, leaving Ireland struggling to keep up with their opponents. Meanwhile, Northern Ireland managed to avoid an upset and advance to the last 16 with a narrow 4-3 win over Switzerland.

Josh Rock and Brendan Dolan, the sixth seeds, played a pivotal role in securing top spot in Group B after defeating South Africa 4-1 and Switzerland 4-3.
