The 10th convocation of the parliament saw many deputies vying for re-election. However, not all were successful in securing a new mandate. Among them were the Social Democrats, who failed to win enough trust from voters to keep their seats. The voters had decided that there was no longer a place for them in the legislative representative body.
In addition to the Social Democrats, other political forces also lost their seats. The Homeland Movement, despite being the third political force in the country, failed to gain enough support from voters to win a mandate in the third constituency. Entertainer Davor Dretar Drele also lost his seat after winning only 4,703 preferential votes. Katarina Peović and Karolina Vidović Kristo, both vocal critics of the ruling party, also failed to secure a new term in office.
The Reformists, who had one mandate in the last convocation, will not have a representative in the Parliament this time around either. Bojan Glavašević, a former independent representative who ran on the Rijeka pravde list and won 6.5 percent of preferential votes, also lost his seat. However, his name is still on the list for the European Parliament, so his defeat in these elections does not mark an end to his political career entirely. Ermina Lekaj Prljaskaj, who represented the Albanian national minority in parliament, also said goodbye to her seat.
Overall, these elections saw many changes as some politicians were able to secure new terms while others faced defeat. Despite this outcome
