Colombian superstar Shakira is set to bring her world tour to Boston later this year. The first leg of her tour will take place in 14 cities in North America and one in Canada, beginning on November 2 in California and concluding on December 15 in Detroit.
The tour, in support of Shakira’s 12th album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women No Longer Cry) released on March 22, will stop in Boston on December 8 at TD Garden. This album marks the singer-songwriter’s first studio album in seven years.
Shakira recently performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California on April 12 alongside DJ Bizarrap. The tour dates for the North American leg include stops in Palm Desert, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Dallas, Miami, Charlotte, Washington D.C., Toronto, Brooklyn, Montreal, Chicago and Detroit. International dates for the tour are expected to be announced soon.
